Kevin Bringewatt, Managing Partner

Kevin Bringewatt started the firm as a solo practitioner in 1999 with a commitment to providing high quality, cost effective and personalized legal counsel to his clients. Kevin has extensive experience in commercial real estate transactions, purchasing contracts, and local government law. He advises clients on real estate site selection and acquisition with particular emphasis on acquisition of school sites. He has extensive knowledge of local government contracting and purchasing laws and regularly represents business and institutional clients in connection with their procurement of contracted services. He practiced with the law firm of Smith, Helms, Mulliss & Moore, L.L.P. and he served as Judicial Clerk for The Honorable William L. Osteen, United States District Court Middle District of North Carolina.

• Commercial business contracts including purchase of equipment, products, services and software
• Local government procurement
• Town Attorney for five municipalities
• Representing land owners in negotiations in municipal planning and zoning matters
• Education law
• Preparation and negotiation of real estate purchase and sale contract
• Negotiating and drafting commercial leases

Personal
Kevin lives in Davidson with his wife, Tammy, and their five children. When he is not practicing law or spending time with his family, Kevin enjoys serving as a volunteer coach for local youth sports programs.
