Erin Lang Henegar, Partner

Erin has focused her practice on business contracts, commercial real estate, and commercial real estate finance. Her experience in international law firms, as well as a global in-house legal department, provides her with a unique perspective and valuable insight in deal structuring and negotiation. Erin has extensive experience in negotiating general business transactions, including procurement, information technology, servicing, and consulting contracts. She has represented healthcare systems, municipal organizations, schools, not-for-profit corporations and other businesses in a variety of contract, debt, corporate governance and risk matters.

Erin also has extensive experience in loan originations, leasing, warehouse lending, syndicated credit facilities, and debt restructuring. She has regularly represented institutional investors, lenders, developers, REITs and other corporate entities in real estate debt finance, and in the acquisition, development, disposition and financing of commercial real estate.

Prior to joining Bringewatt, Wolter & Snover, Erin served as senior counsel in the Real Estate department of Mayer Brown LLP, as assistant general counsel in the Global Corporate Investment Banking and Commercial Real Estate divisions of Bank of America Corporation, and as counsel in the Specialized Finance department of Kennedy Covington LLP (now K&L Gates LLP).

Erin lives in Davidson with her husband, and has two adult sons.

I strive to use my breadth of experience – “Big Law” attorney, in-house counsel, not-for-profit board trustee, corporate secretary – to balance the roles of trusted legal advisor and valuable business partner.
